Carte Blanche — THIRD PLACE
During the summer, we’ll compare the current temperature of Toronto, Ontario with the temperature found inside a parked car. This will remind passersby that a cool day is anything but mild for dogs left alone in hot cars.
From the tiger tail to the Playmobil play set, Esso has created some pretty iconic merchandise over the past 100 years. Knowing these items are fuel for nostalgia, we created social posts featuring these one-of-a-kind items to inspire their followers to share the fond memories they have of the brand.
Songs often celebrate excessive spending and living lavishly, but this lifestyle isn’t always a financial reality.
We’ll insert our ads into songs that mention reckless spending on Spotify. When the ad pops up, a direct lyric from the song will make you question its financial practicality.
The moment Drake raps “We need some really big rings”, the message will appear. Thousands of songs including Madonna’s “Material Girl” and The Barenaked Ladies “If I Had $1,000,000” will also have their own custom message.

On Valentine’s Day, we took over Project Consent’s Instagram feed with a series of informative, yet playful cue cards to help their followers identify more verbal and non-verbal cues of consent.

Enercare came to us looking to rebrand everything from their logo to their fleet vans. I designed the logo and wordmark during my time at Sid Lee.

As part of Sid Lee Collective, local creatives contributed a quote on the topic of going against the status quo, then Sid Lee creatives brought them to life.
An event was held at #Hashtag Gallery where limited quantities of the posters were sold. All proceeds went to YYZ, a local creative outlet that supports artists who take risks and gives them the space to do so.

Zulu Alpha Kilo has its own arcade table. I designed the wrap to go around it featuring video game pixel art and Zulu’s brand colours. The pattern highlights its culture with Rex the mascot, the “No Ego” symbol, and Zulu’s logo.
